Make Much Money |
AdSense is perhaps the most popular way to make money online but is it
for real? Can you still make money with AdSense? Can you make a living
out of AdSense? I will try and give you honest answers based on my
experiences as an AdSense user but also examples from successful
websites that are using AdSense. Money for nothing? Well, not quite—but close! Google’s AdSense is a
revenue-sharing opportunity for small, medium and large web sites that
places ads for goods and services that are relevant to the content of
your site, targeted to the people who frequent your pages. In turn, you
get paid a small amount when the ad is either displayed on your page, or
clicked on. We'll show you some good ideas that added to your own, will
help increase your AdSense revenue.
What is Google AdSense?
The majority of Internet users are probably aware of Google AdSense
but for the sake of keeping beginners up-to-date here is a quick
overview about the program and major benefits:
- It is own by Google
- It’s a major source of income for Google (On 2012 Q3 earnings from
AdSense was $3.13 billion which represents around 27% of Google’s
revenue)
- It is free for publishers
- Advertisers use the Adwords program to advertise their products or
services on AdSense websites. They only pay when someone clicks on their
ads (PPC – Pay per click)
- Publishers receive 68% of the revenue and Google 32%. For example if
an advertiser pays $1 for a click then 68 cents will go to the
publisher and 32 cents to Google.
- The cost per click calculation is based on an auction type system
- It is very easy to use
- It is the most reliable advertising platform on the Internet today
and can generate the most revenue for publishers (compared to other
similar PPC systems)
- AdSense besides content web sites is also available for games, videos, mobiles and search products.

My Tutorial :
1. Adding Adsense to your Blog :
There are two ways to add Adsense to your blog. You can do it the manual way (adding the code) or by using a plugin.
I’ve been using the manual way because I have my tech assistant do
it, and she’s good at doing all kinds of code stuff. However, the plugin
I recommend is called Google Adsense Plugin (go figure). It’s a pretty simple plugin that allows you to adjust the look of the
ad easily by just entering your published ID. You can get your
publisher ID by looking at the top right in your Adsense account. Now I must say that I’m not personally using the plugin, but according to the reviews, the plugin does a great job.
2. Adding Adsense to Youtube :
Have you noticed that you are seeing MANY more ads on youtube
recently? Yep, youtube is becoming more like regular TV when it comes to
ads, and I think it’s a great thing. Why?
In the past, only the big dawgs were able to make money from video
ads. You know – television stations, etc. Now, you and I can do it
because Youtube has made it accessible to regular people. Back in the
days, it was only available to youtube Partners, but now anyone can do
it. It’s a change that I love.
To activate Ads on your Youtube account, you need to:
- Log into your Youtube account
- Go to your Youtube Account Settings
- Click on Monetization
- Click on “Monetize Videos”
